• Part of the global UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme (est. 1992): approximately 900 institutions in over 120 countries

• The research mandate is defined by three statutory pillars: 

  (1) the role of creative industries in economic development, 

  (2) public policies supporting the creative sector, 

  (3) international cooperation and engagement with the Global South.
